Wheel and tire test on drum test stands with a drum diameter of 1700 mm and 2000 mm

1. Quality of the Drum Test Stands:

The drum test stands perform continuous strength tests of tires and wheels of all kinfs and sizes.

The drum test stands are designed to carry out all relevant tests according to ECE regulations as  well as customer specific tests.

The three drum test stands are operated by computer control.

2. Data base:

The machines are run by self-designed software and equipped with a data base. Test diagrams and measuring data are administered by a computer-controlled data base server. Up to 1000 test diagrams can be filed in the data base and can be started from the user interface.

The ongoing measuring data and the test duration are continuously saved in the data base. In case of faults during a test (i. e. tire failure) the re-establishment of the test sata is granted.

Drum test stand 1700 mm, passanger car and truck test stand, machine power 95 kW, driving power 75 kW, run drum diameter 1700 mm, drum width 500 mm, pressure force max. 45 kN; pressure accuracy + 0.5 % v.E., angle of inclination, if necessary, 1-10 degrees, turning angle activated if necessary, peripheral speed 1-360 km/h, rim diameter 16"-25", outside tire diameter max. 1800 mm, rim hub width up to 19".

Drum test stand 2000 mm, passenger truck AS EM test stand, machine power 95 kW, driving power 75 kW, drum diameter 2000mm, drum width 500 mm., pressure force max. 120 kN; pressure accuracy + 0,5 % v.E., angle of inclination, if necessary, 1-10 degrees, turning angle activated if necessary,  peripheral speed 1-300 km/h, rim diameter 10"-25", outside tire diameter max. 2100 mm, rim hub width up to 19".

Drum test stand 1700 mm, passanger car and truck test stand, machine power 55 kW, driving power 42 kW, drum diameter 1700 mm, drum width 500 mm, pressure force max. 15 kN; pressure accuracy + 0,5% v.E., angle of inclination, if necessary, 1-10 degrees, turning angle activated if necessary, peripheral speed 1-460 km/h, rim diameter 6"- 22,5", outside tire diameter max. 1000 mm., rim hub width up to 19".
