Wheel and tyre test, Impact Test according to ISO 7141

1. Description of the Test Method

The test stand PN04 is suitable for the performance of impact tests according to ISO 7141.

During these shock resistance tests wheights are dropped onto the tested wheel from a prescribed height.

One test criterium is the drop in pressure inside the wheel in a laid down period of time. In addition, cracks in the rim flange as well as in parts of the wheel which did not have direct contact with the weight are evaluated.
