1. Description of the Test Method.
The test stand is appropriate for testing wheels'strength while operating according to the regulations for testeing passanger car and truck wheels.The test method is carried out with a non-moving wheel attached to the axle.
The test method allows short periods because the development of cracks in the tested wheel is monitored during the test.
The support of a computer system grants a reliable, user-friendly practicability of the test. In the center of the machine there is a rod through which the diversion momentum is initiated by a rotating and thus imbalance causing mass fixed to the head of the rod. The rod has the standardized length of 760 mm.

All commen hubs (10"-24") can be put on.
3. Most Modern Measuring Electronics.
The analogous measuring electronics includ two chanels for thje respective measuring of the diversion momentum and the diversion of the diversion rod. The diversionsopn momentum is measured by special layered coatings on the rod for measuring extension.
The established measuring results are fed into the computer that performs a geometrical calculations.
These values represent the actual value for the adjustment of the diversion momentum. The diversion of the rod is measured by path monitoring devices.
Increasing diversion refers to the begining of cracking of a wheel and is therefore an important criterium for stopping the test machine.
The received signals of the individual path monitoring devices are processed by a measuring booster and transferred into the computer. The computer geometrically adds up these signsls in order to use these values for monitoring the diversion.
4. User Surface.
The following specifications are fed into the nachine via the user surface:
Number of the load alternations / rated value of diversion momentum or limit value of revolutions per minute (rpm) / increasing diversion (criterion for stopping the machine)/ maximum rpm (criterion for stopping the machine) / maximum diversion momentum (criterion for stopping the machine) / specifics of the wheel to be tested.
All specifications may be changed during the test run.
